This motorbike tour offers a fantastic opportunity to see the tallest sailing ships in the world.

Held only every five years, this spectacular gathering along the river Seine attracts millions of visitors.

Bike Normandy has secured hotel accommodation in a prime location and you will have plenty of leisure time to experience the festival with its’ nightly firework displays.

This will be a fully escorted bike trip from the moment you arrive at the port of Dieppe (or agreed meeting point). It will be run at a leisurely / moderate pace and with a maximum of fourteen bikes. The routes have been extensively researched and as we use a tried & tested “drop-off” marker system with a tail-end rider there is no need for you to refer to road books.

As you will be spending three nights in the same hotel in Rouen there will not be a luggage back-up van on this trip.

Following our arrival at Rouen and check in to the hotel, you will have the evening free to explore the wonderful city of Rouen with its cobbled streets and numerous restaurants.

On the second day we include a morning boat trip on the Seine alongside the tall ships followed by a guided ride to Honfleur, one of the prettiest ports in France. You will have time to wander round the quayside and visit the artist studios before returning to Rouen. The evening is again spent at your leisure.

On the third day we shall ride to Giverny to visit Monet’s house and gardens.

This evening, dinner with wine is included at our favourite restaurant in Rouen!
