4 x 4 Tour (Four Nights in Four Countries)

The idea for this tour came about after we rode through four different countries in one day during our WW1, Belgium & Luxembourg Tour in 2010. See the review of the 2011 tour under Testimonials European Tours.

The trip starts and finishes at Calais (or other agreed meeting/departure points). The first day we ride through France into the Ardennes region of Belgium, riding fast sweepers and twisty forest roads. Dinner tonight is included in our 4* hotel and you’ll have a choice of over 700 Belgian beers!

The next day we ride into Germany along some fabulous roads through the Eifel mountains. Lunch is taken at Boppard on the banks of the Rhine and we stay the night in Cochem - in the middle of the Mosel wine region. This evening is at your leisure.

On day three we follow the Mosel south heading into Luxembourg, staying the night at Viandan, renowned for its fabulous castle which overlooks the town. Again the evening is at your leisure.

We then ride through Petite Suisse Luxembourg crossing back into France and continue into the French Ardennes where we stay the final night in an abbey. Dinner with wine is included on our last evening together.

The final day we ride some more fantastic roads, criss-crossing the France / Belgium border, riding the starting grid of the “Circuit Chimay” racetrack before heading back to the port of Calais (or other agreed departure point) for your early evening return crossing to the UK.

This will be a fully escorted motorcycle trip from the moment you arrive at the port of Calais (or tunnel). It will be run at a moderate pace and with a maximum of fourteen bikes. The routes have been extensively researched and as we always stop every hour & a half for coffee, lunch or fuel any pillions will not be too long in the saddle. As we use a tried & tested “drop-off” marker system with a tail-end rider there is no need for you to refer to road books or maps.

We will stay in small, independent hotels, all with plenty of character, biker friendly and all centrally located.

Your ferry/tunnel crossing, any entry fees and meals / drinks other than as stated above are not included.

A deposit of £95 per person is payable upon booking with the balance payable 8 weeks before departure.

We’ll need a minimum of 10 guests to run this Tour.
